Chikungunya Fever and 12 days Leave

13 september,was not a usual wednesday morning.When i got up at 6:45 My body was paining as if i was beaten by 10 persons.I thought that it was due to late night sleep.I went to office but couldnot hangout there for long time.I took moorthy and consulted a doctor and returned to Room to take rest.My body temperature was rising and couldnot even walk.I informed grandma(rajamma) of fever and she said my mother is already in hospital.What a sad news.
In afternoon,i could not even walk to ground floor to get milk.Dad called me in evening and asked me to come home.I started from room around 6 pm and lucky enough to get a seat to pollachi since my health condition was deteriorating.I reached N.M.Sungam at 8:25 PM whwere father was waiting with sadasivam with omniVan.I went directly to Dr.Shanmughavadivel in Devanurpudur.What a Pity.I was unable to walk from Omni to hospital[30metres].Chikungunya at its peak.Severe joint pain,head ache,giddiness.No wonder,I was admitted in hospital and given Glucose drips.I was crying because of my inability to tolerate body pain.My mummy and chithi were holding my head so that i could get less pain. i was also shivering often.
I had one proud record of not given glucose drip for 25 years till this fever attack.When the nurse searched vein for putting Glucose,I was afraid of pain.But when i thought of the pain caused by the persons we trust when they leave us,the pain was nothing.It took 6 bottles of Glucose,2 nights stay in hospital to get cured.The Problem was not yet over for me.
When i went home,Dysentary started.I consulted Dr.Gopalswamy on sep 16,who asked me to get admitted in hospital.I asked dor tablets and happy to be back home so that i could join office on 18 th.Dysentary was not ready to leave me and it made me weak.Again i went to pollachi and consulted Dr.Balakrishnan to get tablet for dysentary.But on tuesday,19 body condition got worse and Vellingiri chithappa scolded me for not getting admitted in prabu hospital.He scolded that my body got dehydrated.Again in hospital,when nurse searched for vein in my hand, it was not easy to find.When they injected,i was crying in pain unable to tolerate.What a worst feeling.
Sasi,along with Selvaraj stayed with me in hospital.I was discharged the next morning.I was given 4 bottles of glucose.
The lesson i learnt from this Chikungunya fever was the support we need at the time of health crisis.Gurusamy and saravanan spoke with me.Thank you friends.The fever was over but still the body pain is there.I joined back on 25 september.This fever also proved fatal to few persons.I have never seen a disease with such mass destruction in my life in our surroundings especially in Pollachi.It also caused Emotional pains to me .
