VENKATACHALAM IYYA'S SUDDEN DEMISE
I went home at 9:05 on april 13.Sasi came to pick me in N.M.sungam.After getting up early on April 14,2006,Tamil new year,i took bath and went to chithappa home.I was talking with him and watching TV special programs for tamil new year.Then i started to temple along with mom and chithi.I was thanking god and praying ironically i didnot pray for my grandpa Mr Venkatachalam.Then we returned home and i was talking with mom and chithi and chithi left homae around 1:50.
At 2 pm,chithi came running tensed and said grandpa had fallen down and got heavy injuries.All rushed there but i went slowly as it happened often.When i saw grandpa,i was astonished.His Rightleg thumb got broken and bleeding.In his hand skin was shaven away and could see flesh. He was lying inactive .No movement,no breathing.When i checked for pulse,i could feel nothing.I knew Something fatal had happened and couldnot control my emotions.I never revealed that to anyone.Local compounder checked and said the same thing.
Ironically i didnot pray for grandpa in temple and i didnot even speak with him in morning and i just saw him from 30 metre distance and i never imagined that it Would be the last time in my life.Further he was also loving towards me since i am the first grandson of his gene(generation).
He wished that i should get atleast a small job and i could achieve that but couldnot give even a part of my salary.That's god's decision and that's LIFE.
oh god,This is a great loss.
It is he who sowed the seed for all these comforts in Life
I miss you IYYA.
Every Tamil new year[chithirai kani],april 14 will haunt me.
