My Covansys Days

My Training period at Covansys has more or less come to an end. When i think of my journey to covansys,it has been a long road.The journey started wayback in November 2004.when i joined IBM Mainframe course in Dr.Mahalingam college i was told that i would be offered project in covansys and Mainframe course has got a tremendous future.I was also attending classes with the maximum concentration possible.There was a staff appointed to help us in lab.His name is Mr.Elango.He was scolding me every now and then saying that i was lazy and lack qualities of a programmer.However my staff Mr.Sambath was teaching Mainframe in a crispy manner.

The Training was over by january but covansys was delaying to give projects.When finally the first batch was announced in february,my name was not found and the reason was i scored less than 70% marks in academics.Already one month of project period was already over.Adding to the agony, i got viral fever and was unable to even walk for 10 days and didnot attend Dotnet classes conducted for second batch.Even from chennai few of my well wishing friends were making calls and kept my spirits high.

The second batch in which i was present was asked to report at chennai on march 1.Some things are decided by god exactly to our liking.Such one happened to me.My journey to chennai started from my favourite town udumalpet accidentally.i took a passenger train from udumalpet to coimbatore since the Blue Mountain ticket was booked from Udumalpet quota.when we reached chennai,the temparatures were soaring high.We found a room in chitlapakkam near Tambaram.Really i hate those days in chennai .When i was offered a chance to go to Banalore,i readily accepted it.

The journey to bangalore was haunting than chennai experience like shifting of all goods just bought in chennai,finding a right place in bangalore.We found a room in Tin factory bangalore and there after life returned to normal terms but a bit faster.i was allotted project in Dotnet,SQL server.i finished project within one and half month and went back to college for Final viva.when i came back,our project period was extended till may 31

The final day is Tomorrow.No doubt,Covansys provided us with worldclass environment,Exotic food,first class environment and i felt the Complete feeling of how a software multinational Company would be.My job hunt would be kickstarted in a few days time and if God willing we will meet you in future Covansys.

Ilayaraja and A.R.Rahman -The Music Icons

A.R.Rahman and ilayaraja are the two immovable pillars of Tamil film music.Each work in a completely different manner. Each one's entry Completely revolutionised the way the music was Composed for films.Ilayaraja distinguished himself from other composers by his orchestration style. He ruled the south indian filmmusic nearly for two decades and proudly called as "ISAIGNANI".He used singers who were well established.He used Singers like S.P.Balasubramaniam,K.J.Yesudas S.Janaki,Chithra for his songs.He wanted the Singer to recite the Song exactly the same way as needed by him.Very few singers were introduced by him.
A.R.Rahman entered Tamil cinema like a fresh air in 1992 in the film "ROJA".He used the latest sound recording techniques and Sound engineering.Everything was changed from analog to digital mode.He produced fresh music and new sounds.He introduced new singers for every Song.He wanted fresher voices.He introduced North indian singers like Hariharan,Shankar Mahadevan,Sadhana Sargam,Udit Narayan to hum Southindian songs.He took Tamil Music not only to india but to the entire world.His film's Audio rights alone were sold for crores.He composed an album titled "VANDEMATARAM" in a faster mode which aroused patriotism in every indian.It was even used for motivation in Military camps,sports. He gave freedom to singers and they were allowed to improvise.Even he changed tunes when the singer did exceptionally well.He got national awards three times.
Ilayaraja and A.R.Rahman might been different in their working styles.But no doubt they both took Tamil Music to great heights. I salute them.is there is any heart which hate such wonderful musicians?

MAY 7, MY BIRTHDAY

May 7,saturday,2005 was my 24 birthday.My day started with getting up at 6.30 a.m .i prayed God to arrange me job as soon as posssible,prayed for my family members,Friends and well wishers.


Harish was the firstperson to wish me at 7.15 a.m in chennai.I had a fresh bath and dressed up in a brand new dress .My dress is a Golden yellow colour plain formal shirt and Brown colour pant.I started to Lord Ganesh temple around 9.30 am.I offered prayers and again started off to to a temple in tin factory.

I bought few chocolates and gave it to my roommates.i didnot take my breakfast. Around 2.30 pm me along with my friends went to Ramamurthy nagar and had a Nice meals.We took a bus and went to Bangalore Market.I bought a new shoes and roamed for a while sighting the beautiful Bangalore figures.

When we reached the MArket Busstand, a bus was readily waiting to tin factory. we reached there at 8.45 pm.While i was enjoying My Naan,My UG friend Duraimurugan made a call all the way from chennai .Thank God,i was remembered by somebody.
Then i returned to my nest,just recollected all those happenings for the day,thanked God and slept.


Most friends seem to have forgotten my birthday.No problem friends,i willnot forget your Birthdays and never fail to wish you .

I finished MCA Degree in April 2005 from Dr.Mahalingam college of Engineering and Technology
I did My undergraduation in the Great BannariAmman institute of Technology, SathyaMangalam.
Since from my childhood i am an admirer of various things of beauty.I look at the world in a different perspective.
I am an ardent believer of god and accepts the fact that whatever we do the final result is always decided by the Almighty.
